Please note: The ‘Inside Flavour’ selection refers to the flavour of the cream filling. Our cake bases include Vanilla, Chocolate, Bamboo Charcoal and Jasmine. Each cake and flavour combination has a fixed cake-base pairing. The cake base is not a separate selectable option and cannot be chosen or substituted independently.

Custom Cake Order Notice

Minimum notice for non-Same-Day cakes: Cake orders outside our Same Day collection must be placed at least 48 hours before the requested pickup or delivery time, measured in Melbourne local time. All custom orders are subject to production capacity and confirmation by iCake. More notice may be required for especially complex designs, large orders or special materials.

Less than 48 hours’ notice: Please contact iCake before placing or paying for a non-Same-Day cake needed within 48 hours. These are urgent requests, are not guaranteed, and will proceed only if iCake expressly accepts them. Same Day cakes are excluded from this 48-hour advance-order rule and remain subject to the availability shown at checkout.

5% fee for customer-related refunds: If a customer places a non-Same-Day cake order with less than 48 hours’ notice and a customer-related reason prevents it from being fulfilled, any approved refund is subject to a 5% cancellation and administration fee, subject to the limits below. Customer-related reasons include insufficient notice from the customer, incorrect or incomplete order information, late changes, or failure to provide requested details or approval in time. The same fee and limits apply to an approved refund for a customer change of mind or other customer-related cancellation.

Fee limits: The fee is 5% of the amount being refunded, but will not exceed iCake’s reasonable, unrecoverable costs directly associated with processing the affected order and cancellation. It applies only where the fee was clearly disclosed and agreed before payment, and where permitted by law. It is not an additional payment-processing surcharge and is not applied retrospectively to orders placed without that agreement.

When no fee applies: If iCake cannot fulfil a confirmed order because of its own production capacity, unavailable materials, design feasibility or another reason attributable to iCake, the affected unfulfilled order will be refunded in full without this fee. No fee applies to a refund required under the Australian Consumer Law. Placing an urgent order does not remove these rights.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
