Estimates vary with cutting and appetite. Product-specific serving guidance takes priority.

How many portions? View iCake’s serving guide

Approximate portions for standard whole, single-tier cakes

15cm	6–10	12–20	18–30
18cm	8–14	16–28	24–42
25cm	12–18	24–36	36–54

Children’s portions are about half a birthday portion; wedding portions about one-third. These are cutting estimates, not guaranteed headcounts. Appetite, cake shape and height matter. A product’s own serving guide takes priority. Partial cakes, multiple tiers and special shapes need their own guide.
